Children Resources

I rather prefer the term "Little People" over the word "children" because I think it includes children in the realm of "people-ness". In my mission statement I say I want to "Inspire Financial Success in a World of Little People." Little people kind of live in their own worlds. A world that most adults can remember if they try hard enough. A world where Christmas is magical and time moves slowly; a world of long Saturday afternoons and school being out for the summer!

In the world of little people, to play is to learn. You can’t learn to play ball by reading a book. You have to go out on the playground and play ball, and then be told by everyone that you are doing it wrong so that you can learn how to play it correctly. Only then will you get picked first!

I want the little person in your life to "get picked first" on the field of finance. So be prepared for lots of practice. I have listed below some ways in which your child can learn by playing business and making mistakes. Failure is an excellent teacher; and there is no time like childhood in which to make the necessary corrections and learn good, lifelong financial habits

I suggest that younger little people get a bank account and practice adding money they have earned. Rather than the money to increase their new accounts coming from allowance funds, I suggest it come from business funds. I have listed some business suggestions below. Perhaps one of them might spark a thought for you and your little person! We live in a world of business opportunities limited only by your imagination.
